Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the independent provider that operates the tool. That provider handles the query under its own terms and privacy practices. Kalawao County Recent Arrests does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or use an available contact form, we retain the message and the contact details it contains as needed to review and answer it. We do not share a message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our systems and service providers receive basic technical and usage details when a page loads. Those details may include:

Once a visitor follows an outside link, that destination's privacy policy governs its collection and use of information. Hawaii's Uniform Information Practices Act, HRS chapter 92F, concerns access to Hawaii government records. It does not govern this privately operated site's privacy notice.
Advertising companies may use their own cookies or similar technologies to measure activity across websites and select ads based on interests. That processing occurs through their systems, not through a database of search terms kept by Kalawao County Recent Arrests.
